
Assembly Technician
Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Assembly Technician assembles products until they are completed to acceptance test procedures and routing operations by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions
- Performs assembly-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
- Plan, supervise/assist in the set – up, simple maintenance and simple repair of assembly related equipment.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.
- Ability to work with AC/DC motors.
- Strong experience/education in electro-mechanical field.
- Excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanics.
- Ability to MIG and TIG Stainless Steel.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of the Final Assembly Technician, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment can be very loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as job duties demand, with some travel required.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of related experience.
